IMPORTANT RULE
If your Aadhar Card, Family ID, Voter ID, or address proof shows a Changanacheery address, your new vehicle registration will be processed under KL-33.
Remember
The RTA code depends on your residential address and registration jurisdiction — not simply the dealership location.
REAL-LIFE SCENARIO
Purchasing your vehicle from a dealer outside Changanacheery does not automatically change your registration jurisdiction.
If you live in Changanacheery, your vehicle will still be registered as KL-33.
DELIVERY CHECK
At the time of Mahindra Scorpio N delivery, make sure to collect invoice (Xerox), insurance policy, Form 21(Sale Certificate), Form 22 (Road Worthiness Certificate), a copy of Form 20 and temporary registration Certificate. It is advisable to keep 2-3 copies of these documents especially for registration, insurance and finance related requirements.
COMMERCIAL USE
If you want to use your car, bike, or tractor for commercial work such as taxi or transport services, you must get a Commercial Registration with a Yellow Number Plate from the RTA.

Changanacheery does not have a separate RTA Office. Vehicle registration for cars, bikes, and tractors in Changanacheery is handled by SRTO-Changanassery.

The SRTO-Changanassery registration authority provides vehicle-related services through the e-Disha Centre. Online VAHAN services can also be used for registration, fee payment and application status tracking.
